Set up your bank account on the Upwards app
Step 1: Open the Upwards Mobile App and locate the Finances section
- On the upper, right-hand corner, tap on your profile picture
- Tap on My Earnings section
Step 2: Link your bank account
- At the bottom of the screen, tap on Account
- Tap on Connect your bank account
- Upwards uses Plaid- tap on Continue
- Select your bank
- Enter your login credentials and select submit. If you do not have login credentials, tap on the X in the upper right-hand corner. This will allow you to manually enter banking information
- Congratulations! You have successfully set up your account. Once you receive the two deposits into your bank account, come back to this section to confirm the deposit amounts.
Manually link your bank account
- At the bottom of the screen, select Link with account numbers
- Enter your first and last name, then select Continue
- Select account type and tap Continue
- Select account type and tap Continue
- Enter the bank routing number and select Continue
- Enter the bank account number twice and select Continue
- Select Authorize
- Tap to indicate you are a human
- Congratulations! You have successfully set up your account. Once you receive the two deposits into your bank account, come back to this section to confirm the deposit amounts.
