Once you finish your application to care for WeeCare families, the next step is to verify your account. To verify your account, visit https://weecare.co/account/provider and sign in with your registered email address. As soon as you finish verifying your account and we have a family who matches your preferences, we will reach out. 


What is the verification process?


We recommend Babysitters and nannies complete a background check after applying to be a childcare provider with WeeCare. As part of your account verification process, you are required to perform a background check every year. We use a service called Checkr to perform background checks.



Why should I verify my account?


To ensure the safety of our community we ask every provider to submit a 5 min background check. Verified providers have access to the following benefits:


  • Rank higher in searches: Verified providers are prioritized in childcare searches. 
  • Receive more leads: Connect with more families and more jobs.
  • Match with corporate clients: We partner with businesses to fulfill their childcare needs. 
  • Earn your verified badge: Your account and listing will be updated to show your verification. 



You don’t need to get a background check right away, however, your profile will not show up as verified. Nannies and sitters who complete background checks and are verified are 6x more likely to match with a family. 


We are happy to have you be part of our network. But note that in the future, a parent may request for you to get a background check.
