What is Upwards?


Upwards' goal is to make the process of finding affordable, world-class daycares, babysitters, or nannies as easy as possible for parents.

When you contact Upwards to indicate that you need care, you'll be assigned a dedicated Care Navigator who will be your point of contact throughout the entire process.

We match parents with providers based on a range of factors, from just a few to as many as 68. Unlike the traditional method, our real-time data helps us quickly identify suitable options for your family, saving you time and hassle.


It’s worth noting that this service is entirely free for you, thanks to the childcare assistance program offered by your company.


How does the process work?


We want to make the process of finding care for your child as easy and convenient as possible. That's why we recommend downloading our app from this link, which allows you to manage your search and communicate with your coordinator on the go. Be sure to enable notifications so you don't miss any important messages from your Care Navigator!

Once you contact us to indicate that you need care, your Care Navigator will reach out to you within 24 business hours and send you a form to gather more information about your requirements (type of care you need, days needed, drop off/pick up times, your home zip code, distance willing to travel, weekly budget, etc.) to assist in the search.

They'll be available to answer any questions you have and will work with you every step of the way to ensure that you find the best care option for your child. 


After you respond to the questions, your Care Navigator will start the search process based on the information you provided. This typically takes between 24 and 72 hours. They will send you all the options that match your needs.
If you're interested in daycares, you can schedule a tour to learn more about each daycare, and after that, you can coordinate with the daycare to begin care.
If it's a nanny or babysitter, you can contact the caregiver directly to arrange care.
